FortisAlberta Purchases Utegration MeterData4U® Software as their Meter Data Management (MDM) System

Houston, TX – January 14, 2021 — Utegration announced today that FortisAlberta has purchased Utegration MeterData4U® solution as their Meter Data Management (MDM) system, supporting 600,000 meters/points of delivery.

FortisAlberta, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortis Inc., delivers safe and reliable electricity service to more than 60 per cent of Alberta’s total electricity distribution network. The utility operates in 240 communities with more than 124,000 kilometers of power lines, and aspires to lead the industry in delivering safe, reliable and excellent service in every interaction with its customers.

Utegration’s MeterData4U is a patent-pending and certified CIS-embedded MDM system that simplifies the landscape and significantly reduces additional investment, interfaces and maintenance required by traditional three-tier MDM systems. Utegration MeterData4U will be implemented at FortisAlberta as part of updating their technology portfolio.
